Her personal attention and natural warmth complement Tom’s structured approach to service, creating a stay that feels both professionally managed and wonderfully homely.

Major Tom Louis
After nearly four decades of professional life spanning the Indian Army and the corporate world—including 20 years in C-level positions with leading healthcare groups in the UAE—Major Tom Louis returned to Goa with his wife, Maria, to create Casa de Maria.
His experience in disciplined leadership, service excellence and caring for people shapes the standards of hospitality at this intimate boutique retreat. Tom and Maria live within the property and remain personally involved in ensuring that every guest feels comfortable and valued.
Whether helping guests discover a quieter and more authentic side of Goa, sharing a conversation over a drink or ensuring that every detail has been thoughtfully attended to, Tom believes that memorable hospitality begins with genuine human connection.
